What is full form of UPSSSC PET exam?
The full form is Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (Preliminary Eligibility Test).
UPSSSC PET Notification :
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is going to conduct the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) in the year 2021.UPSSSC PET 2021 is being conducted as an Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Group “B” and “C” posts. All the application and registration processes have to do only online mode. Now onwards it has been made mandatory to register and apply through PET for various Examinations and posts under the purview of UPSSSC like the posts of the secretariat etc.
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Staff Commission (UPSSC) announced notification for UPSSSC PET 2021 (preliminary eligibility test) on the official website under Advertisement Number 01-Exam/2021 on 25 May 2021. Candidates can fill the UPSSSC PET Application form online. There will be no provision for an offline method of filling up the UPSSSC PET Application form 2021.

UPSSSC PET 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to appear for UPSSSC PET 2021 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
1. Minimum Educational Qualification: Only the candidates who have passed High school/ class 10th or any other equivalent exam can apply for UPSSSC PET 2021. Those who have not passed High school cannot apply.
2. Nationality: Applying candidates must be of Indian nationality. Although it is not specifically stated that the candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Students looking to find placements in Uttar Pradesh can apply for the job since the state is the only location for the job placement.
3. Age Limit: The candidate must be aged between 18 to 40 years as of 1st July 2021. The age relaxations shall be applicable to the following categories:

The Official Notification for UPSSSC PET 2021 has been released on 25th May 2021 by UPSSSC to recruit Group “B” and “C” posts in Uttar Pradesh state government. The specifications in tabular form are given below:

UPSSSC PET 2021: Selection Process
After the implementation of UPSSSC PET 2021 scores, only those candidates who score well in UPSSSC PET 2021 will be called for the upcoming Group ‘B & C’ main examinations for the particular posts. If anyone has not enrolled themselves for the UPSSSC PET 2021 then they will not be able to appear in the main Exams against any vacancies and hence it is mandatory to appear for UPSSSC PET 2021. The selection process for any UPSSSC recruitment will be as follows:
- Scoring minimum qualifying marks in PET written exam
- Main Exam of the concerned post
- Interview/Skill Test (if applicable)
- Document Verification

UPSSSC PET 2021: Exam Pattern
The exam pattern as per the recent notice released for the PET is as follows:
- The exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions
- A total of 100 such questions will be asked.
- The duration of the exam shall be 2 hours.
- Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
- The difficulty of questions for topics from sr. no. 1 to 9 shall be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.
