UPTET Syllabus 2020-2021 for Paper 1 and 2 and UPTET Exam Pattern.

UPTET Syllabus 2020-2021: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPBEB will release UPTET Notification 2020 along with the application form tentatively 15 January 2021. UPTET 2020 Exam will tentatively be held on March 2021. The online application form link for UPTET  exam 2020 will also be activated soon after the release of the notification. To clear the exam, you must be well equipped with the UPTET syllabus 2020 and exam pattern.The UPTET Syllabus & exam pattern which helps the candidates to know the weightage of each section, so that aspirants prepared his/her exam strategy accordingly.
UPTET Exam is a paper pen (offline mode) based examination. The UPTET exam is conducted for the post of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh state. As per the latest announcement, the Teachers who are in the training period can now sit in TET exams.

UPTET Exam Pattern 2020:

The exam is divided into two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam duration of UPTET 2020 is 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. It is an offline pen-paper based test of 150 marks having 150 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each without any provision of negative marking.

UPTET Syllabus 2020:
UPTET 2020 Syllabus includes Child Development and Teaching Methodology, Language 1 and 2, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Science and Social Studies.

UPTET  Syllabus 2020 for Paper 1:
UPTET Syllabus 2020 for Paper 1 comprises five sections including Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (English), Mathematics & EVS. Majorly questions are framed according to the level of understanding of the diverse learners, interaction with learners in the classroom and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning skills.UPTET Syllabus is based on the topics given in NCERT Books of class I-V.

UPTET Syllabus 2020 for Paper 2 comprises five sections including Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy,Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (English), Mathematics & Science or Social Studies. The standard of questions in UPTET paper II is according to the topics mentioned by NCERT in books of class VI-VIII.
