SSC Central Police Organisation Exam Updates – 

SSC CPO 2020 Exam – The Staff Selection Commission has released the revised dates for SSC CPO 2020 exam. The CPO 2020 exam is now scheduled from November 23rd to November 26th, 2020. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from 29th September onwards which is now postponed to November because of the prevailing situation of COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can check the notification released by SSC on July 1st for rescheduling of the CPO exam.

SSC CPO Admit card

Staff Selection Commission will update the Admit card and Schedule of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Exam. SSC CPO Admit cards release according to the scheduled papers.

The SSC CPO Admit Card (AC)/Admission Certificate for the Examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination for each candidate will be placed on the website of the concerned Regional Office. As per the rules, the SSC CPO’s admit card will not be sent by post to the candidates.

If any candidate is unable to download the SSC CPO Admit Card for the examination, he/ she must immediately contact the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) of the Staff Service Commission with details such as registration ID, proof of fee payment, copy of online application form submitted by the candidate, etc for obtaining the desired Admit Card.

SSC CPO Preparation

SSC CPO Results

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CPO 2020 result after successfully conducting the examination scheduled from September 29th 2020 onwards.

The SSC Released SSC CPO Result 2019 for the paper I on February 12th, 2020. The SSC CPO exam 2019 (Paper I ) was scheduled from December 11, 2019, to December 13th, 2019. Like the previous year, the commission has released SSC CPO Exam Result in four separate category-wise lists.

SSC has released three separate lists for SSC CPO 2018 result – for male, female and departmental candidates.  Paper-II of SSC CPO 2018 was conducted on September 27, 2019. Candidates who have qualified the SSC CPO Paper-II examination are called for Detailed Medical Examination.

Staff Selection Commission declared the result of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination (Paper-I), 2018 on May 25, 2019.

Now the marks of the candidates have been uploaded on the website of the Commission. Candidates may check their marks in the official website of SSC by using their Registration Number/ Roll Number and Registered Password.

SSC CPO Application Fee

A total of Rs. 100/- is the application fee to be paid by male candidates belonging to General and OBC category for SSC CPO 2020 exam. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.

SSC CPO 2020 Eligibility

There are 3 criteria that a candidate needs to fulfil in order to be eligible for SSC CPO 2020 Exam.

Educational Qualifications

  1. A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
  2. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

 

SSC CPO 2020 Age Limit (As on 01.01.2021)

Age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years as on 01-01-2021 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2001).

Nationality/ Citizenship

5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India

SSC CPO Exam Pattern

Questions asked in both the paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO  will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions asked will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate on his/her OMR Answer Sheet. SSC CPO 2020 Exam will be conducted in three phase:

  • Paper-1
  • PET, PST and Medical Test.
  • paper-2

The final merit list will be tabulated on the basis of a candidate’s performance in all the three phases of SSC CPO Exam.
